Why can't I access LEAP?

Lenders with both Title I and Title II authority that are experiencing issues accessing LEAP should ensure that all users that need to access LEAP, have both Title I and Title II authorizations in FHA Connection (FHAC).

• When registering a new user for FHAC, lenders that are approved for both Title I and Title II must enter their 10-digit lender ID in both the "Title II Lender ID" and "Title I Lender ID" fields on the User Registration Form

• When updating the authorized functions of an existing user, lenders that are approved for both Title I and Title II must enter their 10-digit lender ID in both the "Title II Lender ID" and "Title I Lender ID" fields on the FHAC ID Administration screen. Only the lender’s application coordinator(s) can update the authorized functions in FHAC.

Note: The home office ID for these lenders is the same for Title I and Title II. Any users associated with the Home Office ID will enter the same 10-digit number in both fields.
