Are the Mortgagee Review Board’s actions publicized?

Yes. Section 202(c) of the National Housing Act requires HUD to publish in the Federal Register, the cause and description of the administrative action taken by the Mortgagee Review Board against HUD-approved mortgagees.  In addition, the Department issues press releases to alert the public about significant Mortgagee Review Board actions.
