What is the process for a real estate agent to place a bid on a HUD Home for a buyer?

Selling brokers, HUD-approved Nonprofits, and Governmental Entities must submit bids for HUD Real Estate Owned (REO) Properties electronically through HUD HomeStore.
In order to submit bids through HUD HomeStore, selling brokers, HUD-approved Nonprofits, and Governmental Entities must:
  • have applied for and been issued a Name and Address Identification Number (NAID); and
  • be registered on HUD HomeStore or successor site.
NAID Application information is available on the HUD HomeStore website at https://www.hudhomestore.com/Listing/NaidApplication.aspx?sLanguage=ENGLISH

Registration and bidding instructions are available on the HUD HomeStore website at https://www.hudhomestore.com/ListingSiteFAQ.htm
