How long does the Mortgagee have to submit a Loss Mitigation Home Retention incentive claim?

The Mortgagee must use the Claims Input - Claim Type 31-33 function in FHA Connection to submit Parts A and B of form HUD-27011 to HUD within 60 Days of the execution date of:
 
Special Forbearance (Claim Type 31)

  • the SFB-Unemployment Agreement 

Loan Modification - Prior to March 1, 2017 (Claim Type 32)

  • the Loan Modification agreement, after the Borrower’s successful completion of their Trial Payment Plan.

FHA-Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) Loan Modification (Claim Type 32)

  • the Loan Modification agreement, after the Borrower’s successful completion of their Trial Payment Plan; or
  • the FHA-HAMP Loan Modification agreement, after the Borrower’s successful completion of their Trial Payment Plan.  

FHA- HAMP Partial Claim (Claim Type 33)

  • the promissory Note and Mortgage. 

HUD will not pay the incentive claim if the Mortgagee fails to submit the claim, including any corrections, within the 60-day period identified above for the respective Claim Type.
