Can an FHA approved Mortgagee share officers and/or owners with other entities?

Yes, an FHA lender may have officers and/or owners who represent other entities as long as loan applicants and borrowers know which entity with which they are doing business.

The officer whose experience was used to meet the FHA 3-year experience requirement (as part of the lender’s FHA approval) is subject to the same employment and income restrictions as an employee.

Branch managers are also considered full time officers of a lender.

Note: Branch managers are reported to FHA as part of the branch registration process.
