What must I do if I am locked out or need to reset my password for the NAID Application Portal?

To unlock your access or change your password for the NAID Application Portal:
  1. Go to the HUD HomeStore website at: http://www.hudhomestore.com;
  2. Click the NAID Application Portal tab on the gray menu bar at the top of the page;
  3. Click the “Here” link inside the message bubble to access the NAID Application Portal;
  4. Click on LOGIN NOW to be logged into the NAID Application;
  5. In the NAID Application Login screen click on the “Forgot Password?” link;
  6. In the Password Recovery screen, enter your Username, then click on the Submit button;
  7. Answer the two security questions that you set up for your account, then click on the Submit button;
  8. Enter your new password twice then click on the Submit button; and
  9. The system will log you into the NAID Application Portal. 
Your new password must be at least one character different from your previous eight passwords. Passwords must be between 10 and 15 characters and must contain the following: an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a numeric character and a symbol.  Passwords are valid for 89 days.

Use of the Google Chrome browser is strongly recommended for accessing the NAID Application Portal.
